Workshop “Embodied Percussion” with Nyokabi Kariũki

Using the body as the primary sound source (“embodied percussion”) in combination with live electronics, Nyokabi’s new work, “Body, Bend”, investigates the contexts that, willingly or forcefully, have shaped the use of the body as a sound source within African and African diasporic communities.
