Workshop #1: Spatial memories of Malmö

What traces of black life are there in the city? Who has the right to the city? Whose image of Malmö do we remember and how do we remember?

We are interested in everyday and intimate experiences of the city and how it has changed over time from the perspective of older Afro-Swedish/Black residents. Stories can be anything from where you had your first apartment, memories of your neighborhood, courtyards, places where love flourished, important meeting places.
