The Weight of Silence – An Exhibition by Ina Nian

Welcome to the opening of Black Archives Sweden's first exhibition, "The Weight of Silence", in collaboration with Whose Museum on the 10th of September at 6pm. For this exhibition, the artist Ina Nian departs from the archives, specifically Sweden’s relationship to slavery and its aftermath through the country’s iron ore production. The artist then uses multiple mediums in the form of: video, installations, texts and sound, in the examination of these processes and traces.
