Workshop #2: Affective Cartographies/Spatial memories of Malmö

What memory traces of black life exist in the city? Who has the right to the city? Whose image of Malmö do we remember and how do we remember?

In this workshop we are interested in everyday and intimate memories and stories of the city and how it has changed over time from the perspective of Afro-Swedish/Black residents. We are particularly interested in stories about Malmö in the 1960s-early 2000s. Stories can be anything from where you had your first apartment, memories of your neighborhood, courtyards, places where love flourished, important meeting places. 

Who can participate: Afro-Swedes/Black people who lived in Malmö during the 1960s and early 2000s.
